Lasha tabukashvili biography for kids

Lasha Tabukashvili’s novel has two protagonists: 24-year-old Beka Ishkhneli from Tbilisi and the 62-year-old Lazare Ishkhneli from America, the son of a Georgian immigrant.

These two characters, one an inward idealist and other an outward rationalist, look at the world from opposite poles, and as fate would have it, they meet at the start of the novel. Lazare, nicknamed Gwyimplaine in his childhood after dressing for Halloween as a famous hero, finally fulfills his parents' wishes by bringing their ashes to scatter at the Alaverdi Monastery.
