Biography of Misty Traia

Misty Traia was born on September 23, 1981, in Honolulu, Hawaii.

At the age of seven, she moved to Los Angeles with her mother, actress Kirsten Warren. Growing up, Traia developed a passion for figure skating and began taking lessons at the age of eleven.

However, her love for acting was ignited when her world culture teacher in eighth grade praised her performance as a member of the Palestinian Liberation Organization. This led Traia to decide to pursue a career in acting.

At the age of fourteen, Traia gave up figure skating to focus more on her school activities.

She became the student body president at Marlborough School, a prestigious girls' school. Traia then attended Sarah Lawrence College, where she participated in the creative writing program. She studied the works of writers and non-fiction literature and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003.
